A team of talented finance & Denmark professionals

At LoanDenmark, we believe that ex-pats living in Denmark deserve better. They should be able to get well-researched and in-depth information about living in Denmark, such as finances, dating, the internet, VPN, shopping, education, family, etc.

They should have an easy way to learn how to live better in this country. That’s why we created LoanDenmark. We’re here to help you with the things that matter most.

With our guides, you’ll learn how to manage your money better. You’ll get tips on how to save more and pay less for your bills.

You’ll also find guides on dating Danish women or men, so you can meet someone special who will love you for who you are.

If you want to watch Netflix or Hulu from Denmark without restrictions, read our guide on using a VPN service.

Or, if you want to learn more about Denmark, check out our blog, where we share interesting facts about this beautiful country every day!

In 2018, Loan Denmark was a utility for those who live in Denmark but do not read Danish (very well). The site is an English overview of the Danish loan market and compares Danish private loan companies.

And we are still very good at that, but now we are even more!

We compare all of the private loan companies in Denmark so that it is easy for you to find the best loan that suits you. Furthermore, you will find articles about Danish loans, how to find the cheapest loan, how to apply for a loan, the benefits of student loans, and much more relevant information.

It is free to use Loandenmark.dk to find and apply for your next quick loan. Also, it is noncommittal to apply for loans through Loan Denmark. You can apply for several loans and choose the best or regret it. The loans will not go through without your final confirmation.

Even if you confirm a loan offer, it is free to use this service.

It cannot be easy to figure out the Danish loan opportunities in Danish if you do not read or speak the language well. Therefore, this site is a help for you.

How we make money

At LoanDenmark, we are a reader-supported company. This means that you, our readers, fund the website and enable us to continue publishing the highest quality content. We’re eternally grateful for your support, and we hope you’ll keep coming back for the best information about living in Denmark – and maybe even help us pay the bills.

You can contribute to this by using the affiliated links in the articles, and if you buy something via the links, we will sometimes get a small commision – at no extra cost to you. Read disclaimer.

Kristian Ole Rørbye

+45 6574 2003

Founder & Danish Ex-pat living abroad

Kristian is from Denmark but now lives in Thailand. As a foreigner in another country, he knows about the need to get a good start, especially in finance, such as taking out loans, buying a car, getting a driving license, and finding the best internet at a reasonable price.

That’s why Kristian started Loan Denmark in 2018, where the goal was to make some user-friendly guides for people from outside Denmark who want to get a good start in life in Denmark.

Susanne Benzi

Chief content editor

Susanne is dedicated to helping foreigners living in Denmark get a good start.

Whether you are a foreigner or working with them, you know how difficult it can be to find the correct information about your new home. There’s so much information out there – but it’s not always where you need it or as accurate as it should be

That’s why we hired Susanne: to help ex-pats get the information they need when they need it.

Peter Simonsen

Financial Advisor

My name is Peter, and I’m here to help foreigners living in Denmark get the information they need about the economy in Denmark.

I started this job because there is a need for good content and guidance on ex-pats’ financial issues.

I don’t think it’s fair that there are so many resources available for people already living in Denmark but not so much for those just starting. My life’s work has been to help others, so I had to act when I realized the big gap in this area.

I hope you find our site useful – and if you do, please let me know!
